I'm going through a weird phase of my musical journey where I'm realizing a lot of things I used to think were inconceivably intricate are actually just built of very simple, often juvenile, patterns performed with extreme levels of precision or competency.

That and/or they are complicated, but there is a method applied to keep it all comprehensible.

Thats not to say there aren't complicated, complex things, there are, but there is usually something to anchor the mind to keep it comprehensible.

Coding is frequently like this, too. I assume law is the same way.

I feel like this logic applies to most things in life that aren't deliberately obfuscated/made to seem more complicated. Most of us are out here just trying to get by. If something is complex we crave structure, to make it comprehensible, so we create systems and tools and logic to compensate.
