I once did an adjunct gig for a little over 2k for a standard class. It was a small, expensive private uni with 90% adjuncts. It felt like a scam for everyone involved. My FT adjunct job now is only 50k when my courses bring in at least 1-2.5 million a year in tuition. Students think we live it up 😬
