Fascinating assessment. Makes a lot of sense, especially now that Tesla's burnish is now tarnished and tainted by Elon's shenanigans. Interestingly, some of my fellow Tesla dealership protesters also happen to own Teslas, but say they can't get enough $$ out of selling them to break even.

Generally, EVs have high depreciation rates. Add the creep factor to Teslas and their resale numbers are down significantly. If you’re in the market to buy a used one, and get a bumper sticker absolving yourself, bargains await 😂

I've been been driving EVs for a decade. First one was a Nissan Leaf and it was fine, although it only had an 80 mile range on a charge. In 2019 I bought a Chevy Bolt EV with a much better range and it's been a delight. No plans to trade up to anything else. I'll drive this one until it dies.
