Very nice people; TERRIBLE climate! I'm sorry but I've heard about those temperatures. It's great for bears, but those of us without a built-in fur coat and who aren't acclimated to sub-zero temperatures have a real rough time in the winter.

Canada is a pretty big country so we have all sorts of winters. And our temps are in Celsius - 0° C is equal to 32°F. The lower mainland (Vancouver and area) is like Seattle - very wet winters, lots of rain but no snow. The area I live in is usually between -5° and +5° all winter.

Eh, I live in northern Ontario and it's either a cold winter or a heavy snowfall winter. Heard the west coast is more moderate, never been though. Honestly, you get used to it pretty fast, good luck walking anywhere but the road mid-winter
