Great article - wished I read it years ago - before I wanted to admit I was trans, I always felt like I was orbiting humanity as some kind of a jealous moon, orbiting humanity/experience but always detached/separated from it. Less than a week into HRT, that feeling vanished.

Here's the complicating relation: only some trans people have the dissociation symptoms as well, and for those who do, they can appear to be unrelated to gender.
