Like yes, hyperfocus under pressure/with things I’m really interested in is a superpower that I’m grateful for but it would be really cool if doing normal adult stuff like making my bed and getting groceries came naturally
I’ll never forget the absolute fury I felt at all the people who’d told me “why don’t you just use a planner!?” the first time I took meds. Like you mean THIS is how your brains function!? And you think all I need is a PLANNER!?
