This kind of public rhetoric is so unbelievably, unforgivably irresponsible. There *will* be people on our side who see this, and take it as license to throw up their hands at a moment when it’s essential for us to NOT DO THAT. Weakening us from the inside bc you feel sad is breathtaking behavior.
