We must step up with rest of Europe and tell Ukraine we are with them whatever it takes. Failing to do so well see us and Europe see the same sort of treatment from Trumpton and his thugs - bullies, liars and a disgrace to the very idea of democracy.

You mean potentially other countries getting the mineral deal in Ukraine to being in workers to be close to the Russian border? Egypt and others being there in the place of the US to hold Russia back?

Or at least have the rest of Europe and Ukraine go back to the US next week and say, we can manage in Ukraine, we have these other countries lined up to offer the mineral deal to hold Russia back.

Yup , Syria will want a closer deal with Europe. Now China , I was once told my a very knowledgeable person from there said They don't want what isn't theirs and would much rather trade , EU been getting very friendly over the last few years.
