I heard another executive order has increased his power over the military by eliminating military judicial review on any unlawful order he may give stating that he makes the law when you're in the military and someone gives you an order that you think is illegal you can't question it but not anymore

I suspect that if called upon to do the unthinkable, there will be some members who will refuse. Hopefully, there might be some entire squads or even platoons, or who knows?, who will band together and split off and coalesce with other individuals 🤞🏻

The unfortunate part is that military discipline does not provide for privates to question why we're taking that hill. Therefore, the likelihood of an individual, let alone team or larger group to mutiny as it were, is highly unlikely it would require a staff officer to question the policy.

As a military brat myself, I fully understand military discipline. But I believe you are underestimating the humanity of the rank and file, and the potential turmoil that might result within individuals when asked to do something that to them seems inhumane. Military discipline has its limits.

I enlisted in 1960 and was discharged in 1970 so I'm woefully ignorant of today's volunteer Army my statement was based upon my experience with people and people that make up any organization let alone the military I hope you're correct and that I have underestimated our military.
