The Indy metro remains the largest economic hub and only rapidly growing part of the state. The more sensible republicans know this and have held off attacking Indy. But in the end republicans don’t care about reality, so SB 52 is out of committee and likely to become law

Mayor Joe Hogsett has been complicit, “I’ll tell you the truth, I hide” he said to the media, like a frightened elephant that sees a mouse smaller than him. Why won’t Hogsett realize who should be scared of who? Why won’t Hogsett fight? How much more bullying will he accept?

The power of the people in Central Indiana DSA was able to get Jesse Brown elected. Often during canvassing the feedback we got was “the city isn’t fighting for us” at a time of city leadership absence Central Indiana DSA showed leadership.
