The situation in Velyka Novosilka is deteriorating. Vremivka has fallen. Velyka Novosilka is being attacked from four sides and without major roads in and out. Pontoon crossings must be used to enter the town now.

A quick word about Velyka Novosilka. The area south of the town collapsed in November after months of moderate to heavy fighting. Ukraine's defensive forces here were attrited substantially during that time period without significant reinforcement.
