The implication by this text is that TikTok is unique in the extensiveness of their data capture. That is not the case, and many MANY tech platforms have similarly extensive data capture mechanisms.
Combined with the (false) statement that the data TikTok collects is somehow sensitive. As though it’s sensitive that I follow @chefreactions.bsky.social.
So like age, phone number, precise location, internet address, device used, phone contacts, social network connections, the content of private messages ....
I take it the justices have never used Gmail...... or Facebook.... or anything on their phone.
Because those other platforms that are profiting off the annihilation of our data privacy rights are the exact platforms that are making most politicians rich.
Honestly, I am. The father of my kiddo was OBSESSED with it and was spending 60+ hours a week on it. I see lots of clients also addicted. Their algorithm is insane
