I hate the part of the avatar fandom of people who are very vocal on HATING Korra, they can write a whole essay of excuses of why they hate her but we know it's just misogyny

Yes! When the first season came out, the loudest criticisms were all about her being loud and aggressive. Couldn't be much clearer that it was pure misogyny.
I have a few issues with the series, but Korra herself is a great character!!
I’ve yet to sit through all of Korra but the portion I DID see I. Liked? Like a lot?
Industrial age? Cool concept!
The avatar’s a girl? EPIC!!
I simply don’t understand why some people want a copy/paste of the first ATLA. I love what they’ve done with Korra and honestly I can’t wait to finish it!
Fr fr. Couldn't agree more. Like if Korra had been a male character instead, there wouldn't have been as much hate 🙄
I love Korra as a character btw, she's easily one of the best parts of her show.
Korra suffers from her show. In a vacuum, LoK isn't a *bad* show, but it had to live up to AtlA, and as the focal character of the show, Korra inevitably got saddled with a lot of the less engaging writing.
That said, *most* people that criticize Korra herself are afraid of queer WoC, and it shows.
Yeah, my comment was just an example of a way to criticize Korra as a victim of her show's overall writing instead of being a bad character in a vacuum. Do I think some of her growth was unearned and that KorraSami was rushed? Yes. But the same could be said for Mako or Bolin, too.
Tbf korrasami wasn't supposed to happen at all at the time it was released, as soon as executives noticed the kind of relationship they were writing it'd be cancelled, so it had to be at the end of the show(and it wasn't even that clear they were romantically involved)
I love Katara, Toph, Azula, Mei, Tai Lee, even Genora.
People take issue with Korra, because of how she is written.
I could write an essay on what an awful friend, lover and "heroine" she is.
If you think I dislike her just because she is a woman and POC you are delusional.
