Good to hear! If I like it enough I might take a lil tour of the genre on Switch! Not that it would help my backlog at all!
Playing anything fun yourself?
Heh, Switch specifically I've played essentially every one on console.
The best is Tactics Ogre: Reborn. Triangle Strategy references it a handful of times between how the narrative system works and even name dropping the first one, 'Let Us Cling Together'.
Whenever you play make sure to wait at main menu for the Prologue movie. People always miss it and then complain they're confused lol. When you do get it, Whenever that is, feel free to reach out for questions. Only played a couple thousand hours between all three versions.
I really appreciate that, thanks!
And will do!
I've got quite a backlog across the board, but it's nice going back to my JRPG gaming roots and then looking at the wealth of SRPGs that exist there too, maybe a whole new avenue to enjoy!
Feel free to look at my pinned post for an SRPG book club and the discord which is the same one as reddit's #StrategyRPG sub's discord. Lots of people and lots of games.

Profile has posts of srpg I'm playing.
Definitely prefer a physical copy.
Thanks for the heads up!
