Athletic Brewing’s Oktoberfest/Marzen. It’s mostly clean with a slight wort flavor, but not a lot going on. I’d expect more flavor for a Marzen. Doesn’t make the cut for me. 5/10

Sierra Nevada Trail Pass, golden ale style. It’s not bad, but has a slight soapy taste to me that seems to exist in some NA beers — 7/10. If you want a golden, grab Deschutes’ instead.

Rationale’s Mexican style cerveza. A perfect rendition of the style IMO, with a pleasant citrus after taste that pairs perfectly with the carne asada salad I made. 10/10

Sadly, Next Day Brewing’s “Electro-Lime” is not as good as Rationale’s Mexican lager. They cranked up the lime and salt, but in a kind of artificial way that is reminiscent of Tostitos. Would I still pick it up when craving this style of beer? Possibly, but I wouldn’t seek it out. 8/10

agreed that Athletic is probably overrated, but it's probably the best you can get in many places. They got there early and helped level up the whole sector, so they deserve credit for that. I think of them as like the Sam Adams/Starbucks of NA Beer: not bad, highly available, definitely not best

Second the black butte porter! Also the NA Guinness is quite good! I’m also a fan of hop water from time to time.
