Id say the “why” also includes how he is staffing the org. Hes not pulling in renowned IT specialists, no GAGAS (govt accounting) specialists, no highly respected independent legal experts etc. He’s pulling in those thatre easiest to manipulate into believing his agenda is the be all end all

Actually, I think it’s crazy not to ask about the Kremlin’s influence on DOGE. They must be beside themselves with glee back in Moscow that their assets have accomplished so much so quickly.
