Wasn't as crunchy this time, unfortunately, but she just used regular orange pumpkins
Dunno how easy they are to buy, she just planted a whole row and gave all the neighbours who wanted a pumpkin or two

If you're able, and you love pickled stuff, I absolutely recommend pickled pumpkin

A lot more work though, since pumpkins are very much big and inconveniently shaped
