I think I finally now know where Jarrah get's written out of the msq before returning in 5.1. The political and societal climates of 2.3-2.5 where were I originally (Years ago) had thought Jarrah would've disappeared around the time Wilred was murdered. As many Scions where M.I.A during that time but I later reconsidered that she at most need only be away for about 4 years. Which lead me to replaying HW/Post HW to figure out when exactly, as I've said probably one too many times already lmao.

The break through now though is that similar to 2.3-2.5 Ishgard's political turmoil fits very well with the type of extreme backlash the powers at be direct to the Scions's/my characters when they start doing their jobs a little too good and the powerful stand to loose that power.

So I'm thinking Jarrah might've been locked away deep down in the depths of Ishgard maybe before being taken away by their members of the clergy or garlean sympathizers. (In this AU the other city states where also going through rough transitions of power)

Since time does move by Kan-E-Senna and Merlwyb have either stepped down. (Merlwyb was in her final year of office and Kan-E was meant to return emergy powers back to the council of Seed Seers besides just her and her siblings).

By the way the nature of Merwlyb and Kan-E stepping down is something in the lore books and probably squirreled away in some side quest or something in game but they are very real and we sadly never get to see anything become of that because of the 1 year time bubble

Anyhow all this rambling to say, the church wanting her dead for actively exposing secrets both in relation the msq but also dark knighting a little too hard got set her down a very dark path away from the msq. It's not perfect other factors are still cloudy but having a general idea is great.
