I've started to slowly lose weight again now it's coming up on winter (means I can get my steps in and not overheat), and big thing for me has just been cutting sugar/carbs. Shit like low carb wraps over bread and lentils over rice (similar carbs on that second one but more protein etc etc)
On my end I'm also diabetic so this is smth I wanna achieve regardless of weight, which does add some motivation, but I have seen some immediate results without like, MASSIVELY fucking my normal eating habits
I did the same earlier this year, completely get you. but I promise just keep a level head and you'll get there. I hit my goal of 30 lbs down and over 6% loss in body fat in 5 months, while building some muscle too (even tho that wasn't my primary goal). if I could do that, you got this ez 💪
did this while also going vegan too, so I became a master of figuring out how tf to get my protein intake to where it should be. I'd never paid any attention to macros before, and man was that an adventure lmao
Did that early this year and honestly gave up. Picked up a regular gym habit and stopped finishing my plate just because food was on it. Been losing weight steadily ever since
Yeah, the macros and counting never really works long term because the issue is you have to keep going with that. So long term you want to instead shift towards better balanced meals with proper portions in addition to your workouts so you can have long-term success thanks to lifestyle change

listen bit aside game bangs esp as a "i dont have energy to go gym and stand outside" pick it up off ebay or sommit god speed on ur getting fit journey
My best advice is to listen to yourself and not let other people foist their opinions on your health. It's a journey, and everyone's body is different.
