Thank you and good for you, too! These guys are our 8th & 9th mini schnauzers over the last 26 years; first two were from a breeder, then all the rest were rescues, most of which were "owner surrenders" so they came to us as adults; these guy came as puppies, & reminded us how wonderful puppies are!

It Just KILLS me that someone would do that. My ex and I adopted two minis 17 and 20 years ago and they were the BEST little dogs. They are both gone now but lived to be VERY old. And now new hubs and I have Theo. I never want another breed! Don't tell my little Jack Beagle I said that!

Yeah, it's crazy especially when there're so many shelter, rescue & other surrender options. And Benny and Jerry are our eighth and ninth miniature schnauzers over the last 28 years; the first two puppies from breeders, but all the rest mid-life "owner surrenders." B&J, though, are puppies! Joyous!!

It's a very odd thing, the way they were abandoned; we have theories about what happened, but just don't know. We did DNA tests to determine age and breed and they're purebred, 100% miniature schnauzer, and littermates. At least they weren't let loose, as they'd probably have wandered into traffic.
