I mean, the posts for this month were earlier than many brought their characters. And it would really only take a couple of minutes to pay a little attention to the artist in whose event they want to participate.

I really know how you feel and can totally understand you. I struggle with this too.
There’s a lot going on here on this new platform and sometimes posts get overseen. BS needs a notification system when someone posts stuff so you can’t miss it.
I didn't want to get personal, but since we're getting personal, then:
Yes, you have fulfilled the 2nd rule from the list (as it seems to all participants). But now it was about my other posts for this month (rule 5). There are 8 posts in total (with even less art).
All of them were published before you brought your character. And they weren't that far away in the feed on my page. That is, it would take you 2 minutes at most to pay attention to them. Even if we take into account that you misunderstood rule 5, there remains the question of banal politeness?
You see a post about the drawing and you want the artist to spend time on you. But you don't even want to spend a couple of minutes in response? In my understanding, this is the "drop&go" that the community here is trying to fight.
At any other time, I treat the indifference of subscribers indifferently. But when I see how people want me to spend time on them, but don't want to spend a minute in response, it hurts. Sorry.
I don't want to quarrel with anyone. But now I don't want to draw for anyone
