What?? Patients too sick to stand in a snowstorm for hours won’t get a family doctor?
In the coming election, feet should be held to the Canada Health Act fire. The feds are legally responsible for access and must target spending instead of shrugging and counting on our helplessness.

Also, what we need is every patient to have a family doctor not just 500 of the 1,000 standing in line while others wait at home. Too sick to go.
In the end, someone is going to get left out if we continue this absurd hunger game.
We spend our limited attention spans on the federal level and let our provincial governments run amock. This is reinforced by provincial politicians constantly shifting the blame to Ottawa for everything.
Patients.
That’s what we need to focus on.
The finger-pointing of feds and provinces leaves patients feeling hopeless.
We should all be healthcare voters to turn this around.
1. Recipient provinces can't cut their own health budget.
2. Every blessed penny must be spent in healthcare, not fixing potholes.
3. Feds get to inspect the books to prove 1. & 2.
Not sure I can equate throwing money at the provinces for healthcare with "shrugging".
