Shit there's a specific New England Mordheim event? Had no idea and yet I'm still spearheading the game's adoption as a regular showing at my local shop. Even though the game is meant to be just one warband against another, we've had fun adding more people to larger tables.

I got my SWA book out after watching this earlier today. Proxying my painted Aquilons for Imperial Guard, and I dug out my 2nd edition card templates and scatter dice. I'm good to go! I just need a pal to play with. Oh well 😥😂

Also, I recall talking with Jervis Johnson a long time ago about how GW often limits the setting and factions in releases in order to make licensable trances of their IP to market. It limits what a third-party game do and that might also have been the issue here.

Whenever GW, or any big company, does something like this I assume that it has to be with some sort of IP issue. They need to release a game to keep a trademark active for instance. Remember HeroQuest? As fun as the game was it was put together from existing parts. No new tooling required.
