Krystal is my character from a custom pen and paper campaign that a friend of mine is running, set on a world where islands float around on a gas giant, with large seas of sky in between. It's a world that blends early-mid 20th century technology with magically adept individuals.

Krystal is more of an investigator, with little magic aptitude. He has a keen eye, quick fingers, a silver tongue, and a penchant for holding down the trigger of his Thompson submachine gun when things get dicey.

He was born amongst nobility, although only because his mother held favor with a nobleman. He lived a relatively cushy life until he came of age, when he was prompted to make something of himself. He made a few mistakes along the way, and ended up with a bounty on his head from a Sky Pirate Captain.

Now he travels along with his companions, moving from place to place and job to job. He can be particularly vain, spending most of his money on suits and dresses, and anything that's particularly beautiful to him. He at times has had to rely on his party members for financial assistance.

He's sassy, snarky, and doesn't mind flirting with anyone who seems interested. His biggest flaws are his vanity, and to an extent his selfishness. Although the new necessity of traveling with others has gotten him to rely on them, and learning to let them rely on him.

He's also sharp, generally able to figure out a social situation at a glance. He doesn't mind playing the ditz when it can be socially advantageous. A bit manipulative, in that sense.
