Regular people pay like no taxes in China. If you buy a house, you pay the property tax once, not annually. If you buy a car, you pay the sales tax once, there is no more annual tax to pay.

The system is designed to extract value out of workers to stockholders (where the ultra wealthy are dramatically over represented by the disproportionatte size of their assets)

Tesla paid no US tax because of completely legal loss deductions.
