I wrote 300 postcards to PA and your post has me stepping back a moment. Why on Earth did I (and many, many others) spend so much time nearly begging people to exercise one of their most important rights? We are so screwed up that it's come to this. Personally I'd warmly welcome mandatory voting.

I wrote postcards to PA as well. I don’t understand why people don’t exercise their constitutional right to vote. Vote apathy is a plague on our society.

That number is horrible. That’s more than voted for any single candidate.

And we have no way to know how many who did vote didn’t bother to even put any thought into their votes. Uninformed voters are a terrible thing as well.
