(2/6) Most people who have been paying attention to the US gov. since DJT’s inauguration last month have seen what Musk is doing to highly sensitive departments or the US government. One of those is the Department of Energy (DoEn). This has one major threat to us: Nuclear weapons.

(3/6) It stands to reason that everyone involved knows that what Musk is doing is illegal, but that only matters if the laws are enforced. The access to the DoEn feels to me like Musk’s final trump card, and he will sell the American public out for his freedom.

(4/6) I think that he is going to use information obtained from the DoEn as a way of saying “You mess with me, and I’ll ruin you”. It seems entirely possible that he will store highly sensitive US nuclear secrets on a private, insecure server and set up a DMS-style of safeguard for himself.

(5/6) This would require Musk to access the server regularly to prevent the “leak”. That is it say, if Musk is arrested or worse, the server storing that information will automatically send those files to their destination. Whether that be the dark web, Russia, or worse.

I have no idea the kind of information stored, or that he could access, but this seems like the best choice for his self preservation.

Musk is a massive threat to our safety as Americans.
