What happens when he leaves the Senate? Is his handle validated forever, even if they remove him from the DNS records, or at some point would he need to switch to a private domain?
I guess that means there will be a periodic check to confirm that the TXT record is still set up for a domain? It's not validate once and good forever?
I’d love to see a feature for if the root domain of a subdomain (https://senate.gov in this case) has a bluesky account, a little icon of that main account would show near all sub-user’s names or profile pictures (maybe make it toggleable?)
A great example of domain verification working really well. Pretty sure Senate DNS records are managed pretty tightly, and that this account isn't run by .
I made a U.S. Senators starter pack. It has depressingly few people in it, and because it seems I have to include myself in my own starter packs, it includes me, too, although I'm not a senator. I'll do a Representatives pack next. Just go follow @aoc.bsky.social for now. https://go.bsky.app/Dfx1erW

I’d probably save some money and use subdomain txt records for different server DIDs. 🤷🏾♂️

With some coding it is possible monitor ATProto DID registrations.
