Which is why I don't usually verbalize this thought. I know 3 people who didn't make it through covid with their minds. All 3 are in nursing homes with dementia now. Original group of 4 had all vaccines together. Doesn't prove anything but I sure am glad I did not get covid when the other 3 did.

And...15 months ago I contracted myocarditis 36 hours after my 5th covid booster (I had a heart attack in Oct 2021). Probability was 2 in 1 million. I knew that and took it- still no regrets. I had an appt with cardio last week and was cleared to take the vaccine again. I haven't decided..

I’m so sorry for your loss. My friends wouldn’t get vaccinated either. A mutual friend asked me to check on them when they had Covid. I ended up having to call 911 because her PO was 88 and his was 64!! She made it. He did not. So sad and preventable.

No, definitely not. I was the one taking my friends for the vaccine. I said 3 of them didn't make it through covid with their minds. All 3 had covid before vaccines were available. I was the only one who didn't have covid before the vaccines were available. Sorry it was confusing.

Like you, I was and still am the one encouraging everyone to get vaxxed. I also know people who maybe don’t have dementia but are definitely changed after numerous bouts of covid. I was cautious/lucky & never caught it until Nov 23 & again last Aug. I am definitely nervous about longterm effects.

Just had a friend pass. Two years younger than I: cardiac arrest due to complications from Covid. I feel that so many more are going to die and it will be directly linked to them NOT vaccinating over the next ten years. SMH.

My nephew was 34 in 2021 when he died of covid pneumonia, alone in the hospital. He was a non-smoker, exercised, and was in good shape. If he had been vaccinated, he’d be alive. He hadn’t gotten around to it, and it killed him.

Even with most of the country shut down, we still wound up with 1,000,000 more dead people than average over two years.

Auto accidents and such were way down, but the death count was still way higher. The math doesn't have a political stance.
