Thank you!!
I used a set of oil style brushes from @/chainsawroll.bsky.social that I got on sale, but honestly, any dry brush should work!
For extra texture, I’ve got two canvas texture layers, one on multiply and the other on screen, if I’m remembering correctly 😄
Yes!! These are digital! I just painted them like they were traditional oils, like using one layer and blocking in shapes the way you would with real paint. I’ve done some traditional stuff too, but with acrylics. Haven’t made the leap to oils yet!! 😆
I'm always impressed when someone busts out a completely traditional piece! But my original praise stands as it was based on the assumption your work was digital! Hooray
Wow, those are exceptional! I'm loving the detail I'm getting from what seem like soft, fuzzy, undetailed looking paint marks. If that makes sense. Like, you don't need a hard line to show a detail. Hard to explain. Very easy to look at!
YESS!! I totally get you, and I’m so glad you brought this up because that’s exactly what I was going for!! You know, implying something without having to define it with a hard line... Thanks so much for noticing!! 🥰

I like the blend of realism and fantasy with the bottom two
These are some studies I made with some playboy pictures I found and my oc Lila!!
It started as a little experiment, and now I just can’t stop using textures 😆
Remeding NOW 👀💖
I've been playing around with oil brushes and trying out some traditional techniques, it's a lot of fun!! 🙌
One day I’ll be doing traditional oils along with my digital work... I’m studying for it 😄
