One of my problems with using protectionism to create jobs is that it becomes EXACTLY like that in the end, the consumer becomes responsible for job creation, I see this logic being applied to defend Brazil's high tariffs ALL the time.

And now that we know how decisions are made there how can we know the product can be trusted? It's like telling us we should keep consuming food from the brand that was just revealed using bad ingredients.
