Korra as a show fell off for me, however Korra was not Aang and is arguably a better person. She’s just not a paragon like him. Her character is different and for whatever reason people are upset that she’s her own person. I like Korra more than Aang as a character despite me liking ATLA more.

I really appreciate this! As weird as it is to say knowing how many people dislike or even hate her, she resonates way more with me than Aang does. I love Aang, no doubt about it, but imperfect characters will always get more love from me

Well Aang wasn’t perfect but we learn that in legend of Korra. How absolutely dumpster tier father, good Avatar but terrible parent. Unlike Korra making mistakes or slip ups, being a bad father actively detracts from how Aang is character wise. It does give Aang a flaw but it isn’t that relevant.
