Don’t be too concerned with weapon/armor skills in the early game, craft what armor you like the look of, and try out the weapons you find most fun.
The sheer amount of stuff to do can be daunting, but in a way it can end up being pretty relaxing β˜€οΈ
I love the validation to just try and enjoy the aesthetics of it πŸ₯Ή
Don’t limit yourself to one weapon, adapting is one of your strongest skills to utilize. Yes stick with a weapon class you’re comfortable with and when you are finished with the story trying branching out. As well as there is no shame in calling for help.
This is a great tip 😭 What's your favorite weapon? πŸ‘‰πŸ‘ˆ
Switch Axe, Gunlance, as well as Sword and Shield
Bonk the big lizard
I like this. I can do this πŸ₯Έ
I shall join you once I have it up and running
Play at your own pace and focus on the parts of the game you enjoy, its not an mmo where you gotta grind out some specific build to take part.
Most of my exposure to this game did come off kinda grindy so this is very relieving. Thank you πŸ₯Ή
This is some pro-level tech right here 🧐
You've got plenty of time, take it easy. Watch the critter, learn it's cues, don't be greedy because you feel rushed. Enjoy learning!
This is incredibly helpful and I will keep it close in my mind 😭 Do you have a weapon that you WOULDN'T suggest a newbie use?
I would probably say, wait a little before complex setup type weapons. So hunting horn, charge blade, bow, give those a little bit first. What type of play style do you tend to prefer in other games, such as, have you played Bayonetta or Devil May Cry?
