Everything is political. Every choice a journalist makes or doesn’t make is political. Abiding by the power structure’s rules of decorum and “neutrality” is a political choice.

This isn't meant to be a dunk, but I'm genuinely surprised when people don't understand that journalists generally cannot take part in activism if they want to be taken seriously as journalists
