I very much enjoy the architectural thing where a hundred years ago some bank commissioned a magnificent building with classical columns and pediments and the company's name carved into the architrave to echo the enduring glory of Rome, and now it's a Greggs or a Wetherspoons.

Ngl I think we could do with some modern buildings with more weird nooks with statues and mosaics and grand staircases. But also double glazing and lifts.
(I have been holding onto that joke since my A-levels).
It's just not the one they intended.
