A short thread with some of my favorite reads from this past year, both to reminisce and to hopefully find more people with similar tastes to follow :) #reading #literature #booksky

4,000 Weeks is maybe one of my favorites philosophy books of all time. M4M, in my opinion, tackles similarly heavy concepts in a much friendlier, more approachable manner, which makes it a great recommend for friends and family.
Typically I'm wary of works in the "self help" genera, but Mr. Clear's writing is so affable and enjoyable, plus the methods he purports are some I have seen working in my own life.
This book is a huge part of how I started journaling on the regular, and how I got better about exercising outside the structured approach of a boxing class. It is, to this day, one of my go-to gifts, even for friends who aren't huge readers.
