Sarah McBride did nothing wrong. She was literally advocating for us and the writer of this article completely misinterpreted her.

Really unfortunate that so many people freaked out yesterday. Including myself. I’d never heard of NOTUS before, so i didn’t know it was reactionary, but this definitely changes my priors when it comes to McBride stories to “trust Sarah McBride” as the default.

The impression I get is that she's saying that moderates can be squishy on trans issues and stay in the tent, but that they need to in turn stop trying to shove trans activists out of the tent. I think it's fine if people want to take issue with that, but it's not what people have been saying

Everything she's quoted as saying here is very explicitly about messaging, not policy, and to me it reads as a counter to the media's narrative that Dems need to have a Stern Reckoning About Gender Ideology. Dems do not need to have an internal struggle about this stuff
