The whole lot of them NEEDS to be held accountable. It's not Putin murdering people in Ukraine. If you are given a gun and an ammo, you ALWAYS have a choice who to shoot. They choose to shoot ukrainians, not their criminal commanders.

The choice is always real. They actually belive in their superiority and in a world where everybody lies, everybody steals and everyone is brutal. Where the one that steals most, lies most and is feared most is respected and "safe". They chose a world where you are TOLD what to think willingly.

I have some russian friends. Some ran away, some I can't find anymore. Russia has know only a very short time of relative freedom, after the tsar they had Stalin. And after Gorbachev and Eltsine... they had Putin. The people are in fear. It is not okay to blame a whole people.

Ask those friends that ran away a few questions. Ask them will they learn the local language of wherever they live now. Ask them if Baltic countries were liberated or occupied. Ask them what are russians doing in UKR. The answers are likely to be "No", "Liberated" and "fighting fashists/globalists".

I agree with Thade, historically the Russians, bend towards tyrants, preferring to be dominated, of course not every single russian is cowardly & subservient, but the vast majority are, they choose to be. They have no concept of people power & just sheer human decency. It's a foul decadent society.
