As of now I saw no delay at all. Of course this machine and browser are the first visit to that url. Hope it has worked its issues out.

If the response used to be different, clients can cache that, which could explain a difference in behavior.

Wow, thanks for this Chris. Host support tells me it's potentially a caching issue for those that visited the domain prior to the forwarder setup (like me). But it's also happening for those that haven't visited prior.

I’m unsure if this could be an issue, but there’s nothing listening on 443 (the SSL port) for do-its.co, so if browsers are forcing SSL or favoring it, that would explain a significant delay.
