8. For the drivers: it’s a zipper, dammit. Merging is a zipper! Take your turn and let other people take their turn and we will all get where we are going a little faster, omfg, please.

10. If you’re able, keep a couple five dollar bills (or the equivalent in your currency) on hand. Yeah, most of us just swipe/tap now or Venmo/CashApp our friends. But having cash on hand means you can augment a tip or give it to someone in need or pay for a bottle of water/candy bar so much easier.
11. Once you give a gift, that gift belongs to someone else. So stop worrying so much about what that that homeless person is going to do with the $5 you gave them - they are the judge of their own current needs.
12. Related: Give your precious handmade things only to people you trust will value and steward them as you want those items cared for if you cannot be chill about the possibility of your gift being treated any other way.
13. Pay attention to how people treat waitstaff and other service workers, especially if you are on a first date. These interactions can tell you so much about people.
14. Aging is amazing but damn it’s wild. A thing that makes it easier? Having friends of many ages. Older friends give you an example and remind you life keeps going and can be incredible; younger friends keep you energetic and from getting complacent. And then you get to do the same in turn.
