Keep var, rotate European refs. Wherever refs grow up they are bound to have allegiances and bias. It is our failure to acknowledge these biased views that has led to Coote getting support from media and PGMOL for being a twat.

Of course there is. A lot of football's rules a pretty subjective. There's lots of 50-50 decisions including red cards, handballs and so on. Even offside which is a bit more clear cut ends up with subjective calls on was a player interfering with play. People expect perfect. They will never get it
