The BBC has become a mere shadow of its former self, with standards that are truly abysmal. Just look at the drivel Troy Deeney dishes out. His poor football opinions aside, no one even bothers to tidy it up for the audience. It's genuinely embarrassing what they publish.
Let's be frank, I'm not Charles Dickens myself, yet I'm not earning a living from writing either. If I had handed in work like Troy's for payment, my English teacher would have killed me with a single punch to the face.
What bothers me most here is teams see this and are thinking we can get away with that against them. The linesman making poor offside calls and flagging wrongly for corners and throws just added to the calamity of it all.
The foul on Diaz early on when the linesman flagged immediately and incorrectly for offside (what happened to waiting?). Was that not a DOGSO seeing as it was central in front of goal?
