A research team has successfully captured footage of an Asian black bear attacking a live deer caught in a trap — marking the first such recording and sparking safety concerns.

What of the poor terrified deer, its leg mangled & imprisoned by the trap, seeing a bear come towards it, having no way to escape, trying to flee & feeling the searing pain of the trap mutilating its leg more, & then being horrifically killed by the bear. And the focus is the trappers' safety? 🙄
