I just looked on my photos and Iβve got nothing. These were moved from another house and they seem to like the spot. Maybe this year is going to be the year.
Yet I waited and waited for mine to flower. I was on βif they donβt flower this year Iβm taking them outβ and then they were spectacular. Itβs a short flowering season but worth it. Hoping this is your year of the lilac. ππ½
Had the most awesome lilac bush. Nearly two stories high.
There it was exactly in my living room window. Last summer it had a tiny bird build it's nest in a branch right up against the window. Alas and alack, came the drought. My poor lilac bush dried up and died. The wild winds took it down. FINI
Lilacs are my favorite. There was a family that had a hedge about 800 feet or more of lilacs. Smelt like heaven. The droughts a few years ago too them out...climate change is real.
Mine in Hammersmith in a similar state of anticipated glory. Most relieved as I did some hardcore pruning last year and was anticipating a flower free year. Looks like I might have done it properly (more through luck than judgement). As time goes on Iβm more and more into plants that smell good. ππ½

I still haven't seen any flowers on my 4 year old lilac.
