I’m on board for the first 2 but you lost me on the third. Manufactures have no control over what someone does with their products. More people are killed by drunk drivers and vehicles annually and we blame the drunk drivers and not the beer maker. People need to be held accountable for their action - ThreadSky

I’m glad we have some agreement. In a functioning Republic, I’m open to discussion and debate rather that cramming my view down people’s throat. But holding manufacturers liable, they will write the legislation themselves to be as fair as possible to their legitimate concerns. Not my original idea.

I believe in order to lower gun violence we have to change society. It wasn’t common until around the late 80s and early 90s with the gang/drug explosion. We have gone from that to now where 14 year olds are comfortable with cursing and screaming at adults and even killing.

Totally agree. Just as the gun should not be ignored, which was the case in TX with Uvalde, the governor ignored the gun issue. Likewise, the issue is not exclusively the gun. Gangs must be dealt with. What is triggering mass shootings? This relates to mental health or problem of the mind.
