It’s such a win-win. You spare the eyes of the innocent (or disinterested) while making it easier for your fellow heathens to find you. There’s no downside.
I still don't understand how some NSFW content filters through the system. I've had holiday snaps of me in a swimsuit by a pool marked as explicit sexual content! I no longer bother marking any nudity because bluesky does it for me (even when there is none!). Perhaps it's a gender bias?
I’ve seen so many dick pics and I’m tired of it. You go through these peoples profiles and you see that time and time again that moderators are the ones putting the label on it. These people should just be banned if we gotta police them to ensure they label OR SOMEONE ELSE labels their post NSFW -_-
