Nah he only a margin call or two away from going under..he would be leveraged up to his eyeballs...don't forget X was paid for by russian oligarchs and Saudi money...it wasn't Elons.

Hadn’t heard that. Interesting. Do you feel like BlueSky really values free speech? I mean absolute free speech, no holds barred, or is it something else? Like a shelter from words we don’t want to see?
there is no free speech. not on twitter, not on bsky. on twitter, it's basically elon-censorship with the addition of censorship of regimes (like in turkey where twitter is censored in favour of the erdogan regime to do business). it's not about free speech for elon. it's only business.

it's just a bureaucratically long way there. but in the end, twitter will follow. autocratic regimes or semi-autocratic regimes are clearly faster - that's why elon bends over in turkey, for example. just to make money. that's the only interest. not freedom of expression.

and hate speech. sooner or later, twitter will have to do the same if elon doesn't want his platform banned from the eu (his most lucrative market). the eu has already launched investigations that could cost twitter billions.

there is no single person. bsky tries to follow the legal requirements of the countries in which it operates. for example, they have already announced that they will follow the european requirements of the digital service act in the eu area. this act states that they will combat misinformation
depending on the country: absolutely possible. for example, germany (including austria) has very strict laws regarding national socialism. “re-activation”, as it is called there, can lead to prison sentences. the same applies to incitement to violence.
