As UNIX hit Wall Street, I knew nothing about it. PCs got network cards, was prompted for an IP—typed all 1s. Later, a snippy group asked who told me—I said I made it up. Then I told others to try UNIX with IPs (all 2s, 3s, etc.). Sat back and watched chaos unfold. Took a while to lock it down. ;-)
