Shrek looks like what ordinary people remember Shrek looking like. You only notice the changes to his design if you bring up old images. To me that’s close enough that it doesn’t matter.

I'm upset because Shrek ended with Shrek forever after and Hollywood had to dig up Shrek's corpse to make another sequel (which is typical of them)
