Thatβs genius! ππ€£ Funny, but an important message.
Makes me think of the dog inβ¦ was it Snatch? πΆ apparently swallowed a squeaker; to comedy effect, iirc π€ (though very seriously; that likely wouldnβt be the outcome; an expired pup would be the most likely outcome π)
Also: dog owners: check all toys daily ππ»
If any damage, get rid of the toy ππ»
Even small dogs can rip through what seem harmless or even indestructible; even if sold βforβ much larger/βfiercerβ dogs, that just isnβt the case.
No dog should be allowed to swallow bits of toys; its on the owners. π«Άπ»πΆπ
Liath 2nd of Her Name had the stuffing and the squeakers out of 2 out of her 5 Xmas toys within 15 minutes yesterday (the cheap ones, of course). The bear toys are still intact!
Bought 4 balls for my dog and my son's dog for Christmas. My "granddog" destroyed 2 in under an hour. Oh well he had fun with them in the meantime. (bonus: house got a lot quieter from lack of squeaking π)
Nor I! My sweet rescue pup was 4 when we adopted him and has never gotten the hang of playing with his toys. He has two that he snuggles with and is always surprised when he accidentally squeaks one!
Hmmmmm. Makes me wonder if any of Buddy's toys have that kind of squeaker. He chews on them occasionally but has never destroyed a toy. Cheap balls & giant frisbees are another story. π
My dog is terrified of squeaky toys! I don't know why. I've had her since she was a pup and she never could get used to the squeakers, poor thing! It is always an adventure buying her toys because I have to really read the description and sometimes still end up with squeaky toys.
I may try that. We do a lot of nylabones and rope toys. She loves her kong! Tried a ball (like a tennis ball) π± it was torn apart in three minutes! She's an Aussie and an aggressive chewer when she really likes something! I did get a harder ball and we have a lot of fun with that outside.
Oh, this is good! Have thought many times that I may as well just buy the squeaker and throw it away, but that takes the joy out his disembowelment of ever single stuffy! π
Mine don't destroy the toy, they just surgically remove the squeaker. But they are Irish setters and are well known for their soft mouths and precise noses.

They don't have this message, but should.
